It's been another odd year, hasn't it? Even as we have moved into a more "normal" way of life, we are still adjusting and finding new (or old) comfort levels in how we go about our days.
Even though most areas have declared mask-wearing to be optional, we are more comfortable using masks here in the shop. When we do that, we can all be better assured that those we come in contact with are less harmed by us, and us by them! Thank you all so much for respecting this!
I knit so many sweaters during covid that I am suddenly in a "hat frenzy" and some cowls, too. Some people always have socks on the needles, I have hats. Not sure how well this will work out, because socks get a whole lot more wear than hats, but, hats seem to be my thing right now.
Colorwork seems to be having a heyday - everything comes around again! There are so many newer patterns for colorwork sweaters, hats, mittens. Many are rediscovering the joy of putting colors together, or giving it a try with something simple. I knit a few sweaters recently with plenty of colorwork, but I do like to slip a simple one in, between the fussy ones.
There is no way to say how much I enjoy you, my customers. It's never all about business, If you leave my shop happy, I am happy, too! And, I literally want to do ALL of your projects! Thankfully, I don't have to, but it's sure a lot of fun to help you plan them.
With warm wishes that your holidays are all you want them to be,
