Community Announcements
North Seattle French School Says "Bienvenue Shoreline!"
Local bilingual school will host second open house on January 15, 2020
You're invited to join North Seattle French School (NSFS) , a French immersion and bilingual preschool and K-5 elementary school, for an open house at their new location in Shoreline.

DATE: Wednesday, January 15, 2020

TIME: 10:30AM—12:00PM

WHERE: Shoreline Center, Wing F, 18560 1 st Ave NE, Shoreline WA 98155

NSFS's new head of school, Gilles Faure, and his staff welcome families from Shoreline and surrounding communities to its open house. It's an opportunity for parents to learn about the school, its curriculum and core values, and the benefits of French immersion and bilingual education. Meet faculty and parents and ask questions about the NSFS experience and the enrollment process.

NSFS moved to the Shoreline Center in July 2019. Their new location significantly increases the school’s classroom space and enables NSFS to continue to grow and thrive in the coming years. NSFS opened in the fall of 2013 with a single kindergarten class. The school was founded by a handful of parents who dreamed of a local French-American school and worked hard to realize their dream. Since 2013, they have grown by one grade each year and have added a part-time preschool. At the end of the 2018-19 school year, they graduated their first 5 th  grade class, achieving their goal of becoming a full bilingual elementary in the greater Seattle area. For more information, please visit the NSFS website .
Volunteer: Help Re-launch Le Networking Committee!
Are you passionate about professional networking? Does the idea of developing meaningful and beneficial networking experiences for the FACC members excite you? If you answered yes, then Le Networking Committee might be a perfect fit for you!

We are searching for volunteers to help build programming that is relevant to all facets of FACC-PNW. In addition to helping plan events, we need volunteers who are available to attend/manage the networking events. We already have a few dynamic committee members and are looking for a couple of additional volunteers to join. Contact Huguette Marsicano at (206) 859-1422 or at  for additional information.
Recap: Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Festivals
Un grand merci to everyone who helped to make our events a success!
On Friday, November 22, 2019 FACC-PNW members and the local community celebrated the arrival of the 2019 Beaujolais Nouveau in the Pacific Northwest.

In Seattle , 27th annual Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Festival attendees gathered at the iconic Columbia Tower Club. One state over, in partnership with the Alliance Française of Portland , we hosted a simultaneous event for the 18th consecutive year in Headwaters restaurant at the prestigious Heathmann Hotel.
Both events were a stunning success thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and guests. Merci for your support!

Unable to attend the events or simply wanting to relive the excitement? Be sure to check out the beautiful photos from the events. Seattle photos are available on the FolRev Photography website and Portland photos can be found on the Reagan Kastner website.

Don't forget to save the date for next year's festivals: November 20, 2020!
Merci Encore to our 2019 Wine Festival Sponsors!
