The Health and Safety Council (HASC) Louisiana is proud to announce that beginning January 1, 2025, all HASC Louisiana and HASC locations will exclusively offer Safety Essentials® as the industry-chosen Process Safety Management (PSM) required Contractor Orientation.  

In response to industry request for a single quality PSM training solution, and in order to help streamline the standardization of reciprocal safety training, HASC Louisiana (HASC LA) will discontinue offering alternative programs including Basic Orientation Plus® and Basic Orientation Plus® Refresher. 

As a thank you to our customers and to ensure a smooth transition, we are offering a special promotion: Safety Essentials, regularly priced at $35, will be available for just $25 through January 15, 2025.

Starting January 2025, contractors must have Safety Essentials to enter WESTLAKE Petro/Poly; BOP will no longer be accepted. Contractors are requested to start taking SE-SAFE instead of BOP after June 1, 2024.
