Office complex sold to developer with mixed use vision

Eisenhower Property Group closed on Westshore Square, a 2.6-acre property home to a 60,000-square-foot building built in 1977. “While we do not have an immediate specific plan for the site, we envision a world-class, mixed-use development and will be working diligently to make sure this vision becomes a reality,” Jeffery Hills, president and CEO. “Westshore is the heart of Tampa Bay, and we look forward to being a part of its continued growth.” MORE

ART IN THE AIR: PUBLIC ART BANNER PROGRAM + FUNDRAISER

The Art in the Air program officially launched during our November Membership Luncheon. This placemaking initiative is an opportunity to transform Boy Scout Boulevard into a dynamic outdoor gallery. There are 53 banners within the corridor primed for sponsorship, each sponsor's logo will be displayed on a banner from June to September 2026.

Proceeds raised through this program will be allocated to the Westshore District Foundation a 501(c)(3) nonprofit — making your sponsorship a tax-deductible contribution that directly fuels the growth of public art in our district. Learn more about Art in the Air here and sign up here. Thank you to our sponsors!

Westshore Interchange Bike Audit Series

The Westshore Alliance alongside Atkins Realis, FDOT District 7, and Pedal Power Promoters conducted three bike audit rides over the past few months to review existing conditions, areas of concern, and proposed plans for the Westshore District with the construction of the Westshore Interchange. The Westshore Interchange will include the reconnection of three neighborhood streets (Reo Street, Occident Street, Trask Street) and will be accompanied by a new Shared Use Path that will connect to the Howard Frankland Bridge trail. Pictures below.
