DANCE CLASS TUITION

If you paid for September-December tuition, January-May tuition is due by Jan 1.

Dance class tuition is invoiced by the term. The full-term invoice must be paid, regardless of the number of classes the student wishes to attend (or actually attends). There will be no refunds, credits, or transfers if the full term isn't completed. For your convenience, the term can be broken down into 9 monthly payments. When enrolling in our classes, you are committing to a service contract for a complete term. Mobile Bay Dance Academy does not offer refunds for cancellations. If you choose to pay monthly, tuition is always due by the first class of each month.

There is no monthly invoice.

Monthly Emails are your reminder to go to the website and pay your tuition.

Please make sure you pay on time to avoid late fees. Tuition is based on a yearly rate, from September through May/June, paid in nine payments. Some months have three classes while other months have five classes. Monthly payment installments remain the same throughout the year. We do not prorate tuition for any reason.

Holidays and closures are already calculated into your nine payments. If joining a class after the first week of that month, the full payment installment must be made for that month, and makeups in similar classes are encouraged for any missed weeks. There are absolutely no refunds. If at any time, due to a pandemic, we have to move to virtual dance classes, tuition is still due and classes will be held during regular class times.

COSTUME FEES ARE DUE IMMEDIATELY!

All costume payments were due by November 14, 2025.

Costumes are not included in tuition.

✨ The cost of each costume is $90.00.

✨ Each dancer will have one costume, which is appropriate for multiple dance genres.

✨ No costume refunds will be issued.

📌 If your child will not be participating in the recital, you must send written notice by December 1, 2025.

⚠️ Please note: If you withdraw from the MBDA dance program before receiving your costume, you acknowledge and accept that you forfeit the costume.

Online Payment Options

📅 Rehearsal & Recital Dates: May 30th & May 31, 2026 📅

Both the Rehearsal and Recital will be held at the

Monte L. Moorer Theater located on St. Paul’s School campus.

✨Every dancer, whether enrolled at the dance studio, school, preschool, or daycare, is included in our Annual Rehearsal and Recital.

We can’t wait to celebrate another incredible year of dance in May!

Recital Fee

✨$25.00 per dancer

The recital fee reserves your child's place in the recital. This also helps cover the cost of the tech crew, props, security, ballet recital medals, and music licensing for rehearsal and recital weekend.

Other Expenses

Expenses will include costumes, recital tickets, tights & shoes.

Dance Recital program ads, books & flowers are optional to purchase.

Families with more than one dancer may need to attend more than one show to see their dancer/dancers perform.

If your child will not be participating in the 2025–2026 Dance Recital, please send written notice by December 1, 2025.

ANNUAL NUTCRACKER CAMP

Where: The Dance Studio

When: Monday, December 22, 2025

Time: 8:00-1:00

Ages: 2.5 & Up (Split Classes)

What To Wear: Christmas Pajamas

What To Bring: Labeled Lunch & Water Bottle

Cost: $60 per camper

Class Attendance

Students must attend classes regularly for their own benefit as well as the growth and development of the class as a whole. Our dance classes are based on individual commitment; however, they are fueled by the entire class.

By coming to class we assume that all students are healthy and able to dance. If your child has a sprained ankle, cast, etc.. PARENTS should let us know about the situation in advance and we will let your child observe the class.

No Visitors In Dance Class

No Parents or visitors are allowed in the dance classroom. Dancers are more focused and perform better with fewer people in the room. Dance is also about learning independence. You will see your dancer grow so much in confidence from their dance classes. If your child is feeling anxious about being in class without you, you can help by explaining to your child that they can show you what they learned after class.

Communication

We work hard to make the dance experience organized and fun. Keeping you informed is one of our primary goals. Please read all newsletters and other dance class information. The studio's primary method of communication with parents is via e-mail. If you are not receiving e-mails from us, please contact us to ensure your current e-mail address is on file.
