Volunteers Needed December 28 from 9 til 1

Due to the generosity of our community, Fremont Township is not accepting food donations for our food pantry until further notice. We appreciate the generosity from our community. We will be having a food sort on December 28 from 9 til 1. If we don't finish, we will also sort on December 29. We need volunteers!

Can You See Your Address From the Street?

If an emergency vehicle needed to find your home, would they be able to see your address? Please make sure you look at your home at night and in the daylight to make sure your address is clear. Seconds can save lives.

Feeling Thankful

We are so thankful to the people that dropped Thanksgiving meals off, the donations at Jewel and for the 37 turkeys from Elly's. We were able to make sure 130 neighbors had Thanksgiving dinner provided. Thank you to everyone that adopted a family or senior this year for Christmas!

Medicare Ship Counseling

Thank you to our volunteer Medicare Ship Counselor, Chris Koscinski for helping Fremont Township residents again this year. She was able to help save our residents over $50,000 by helping them select the most cost effective prescription drug coverage and gave them peace of mind they were in the right program.

Mundelein’s Holiday Raffle Underway…Shop Local…Win Cash! Happy Holidays! In the spirit of the holiday season, the Village of Mundelein is pleased to introduce a holiday marketing campaign. We’ve refreshed our “Made for You, Mundelein…” Let’s Support Local campaign with a holiday theme and focus:“Handmade for the Holidays…Shop Local. Shop Mundelein.” The campaign’s holiday raffle rewards residents for shopping local.    It’s simple to participate:  STEP ONE-Shop Local! Gas, gifts, groceries, apparel, flowers…any Mundelein retail purchase. STEP TWO-Submit photos of your receipts to www.madeinmundelein.com. For every $100 you spend, you get one raffle entry! The State Treasurer is holding more than 3.5 billion dollars in unclaimed funds for Illinoisans. The State holds these lost funds until they are claimed by either the original owner or their heirs.
