The Pacific Institute joined business leaders, public servants, change makers, and civil society representatives from all over the world at COP28.
At the conference, the Water Resilience Coalition (a CEO-led initiative in partnership with the Pacific Institute and UN Global Compact) and European Space Agency announced seven pilot projects to advance digital monitoring in 100 of the world's most water-stressed basins.

Water Resilience Coalition Set to Launch Mississippi River Water Action Collaborative | |
The Mississippi River Basin (MRB) hosts numerous water projects, initiatives, commitments, and investments. By leveraging existing resources and stakeholder expertise, there is substantial potential to catalyze and scale opportunities through collective action. Recently, the Water Resilience Coalition, in partnership with 3M, brought together community, government, NGO, and corporate stakeholders to create the blueprint for a Water Action Collaborative that can play the role of accelerating progress in the MRB.
