Dear friends,

Bob "Sleep Out" Fisher has been sharing a compelling and encouraging Sleep Out visual around town.

Among his many retirement ventures, Bob serves as a tour guide at the Twins stadium where he's become a delightful expert on Twins stats and lore.
However, there is one stat that struck him emotionally and that he's been sharing with his many fans. It's the close tie between the number of seats at the stadium (somewhere around 40,000) and the number of times support for the Sleep Out has prevented homelessness (32,098) for families and kids of our community.

"Imagine," he'll say. "You could fill that whole stadium with the families we've helped." And then he tears up with a kind of humble joy.
I like the way Bob sees and thinks, don't you? I say, "Good for Bob! Good for us!" Let's hold that visual in mind. Let's fill up that stadium with a successful all-in 2018 Sleep Out $2.4M campaign!

P.S. Go Twins!

This amazing community has raised $1,465,532 and is now 61% of the way to the Sleep Out goal of $2,400,000 by Dec. 31! Thank you for helping  prevent homelessness for nearly 2,000 local families. Together we can make this community the best version of itself!

Last year, 1 in 5 families who came to Interfaith Outreach experienced homelessness. That's 429 families! We want each and every one of them to know they have a neighbor who cares.

In recognition of those 429 families, a generous donor will match 429 gifts of $100 or more. Can you provide a ray of hope for a family at risk of homelessness by making a $100 gift today?

On Friday, Dec. 14, 22 local businesses are supporting the Sleep Out by donating portions of their sales as part of Shop with a Purpose Day. Plan your dining, shopping and shipping at these great partner locations  - all to help prevent homelessness for local families and kidsMore >
