December 2025

A Letter from the President

Dear Friends and Supporters,

As the year draws to a close, December invites us to reflect on the progress we’ve made and the hope we carry into the future. For Kids’ Chance of Maryland, this season is about gratitude—gratitude for the students who inspire us with their resilience, and for the supporters like you who make their educational journeys possible.

Celebrating 2025 and Preparing for 2026

This year, we celebrated remarkable determination from our scholarship recipients. Each student represents not only the strength to overcome family challenges, but also the promise of brighter futures through education. Thanks to your generosity—and the support of our Santa Scholarship Sponsors—we were able to award Spring 2026 scholarships to a new group of deserving students, making their holidays merry and bright.

As we look ahead to 2026, our mission remains clear: to expand opportunities and ensure that no child of an injured Maryland worker is left behind.

Acknowledging Our Board of Directors

I would also like to extend heartfelt thanks to our Board of Directors. Their guidance, dedication, and vision have been instrumental in advancing our mission. It is through their leadership, combined with your support, that we continue to grow and serve more students each year.

Your Impact

Every donation, sponsorship, and hour of volunteerism has helped us build a foundation of hope and dignity. Your support transforms lives, turning obstacles into opportunities and challenges into achievements.

Looking Ahead

As we step into the new year, we invite you to continue standing with us—and join us for our Bowling for Scholarships Tournament on March 11th. Together, we can make 2026 a year of growth, opportunity, and lasting impact for the students we serve.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a hopeful start to the new year.

With sincere appreciation,

Edgar G. Dodd, III

President, Kids' Chance of Maryland
