In a nod to the turning year, December typically sees a slowing down and a clearing of desks. And yet while I can certainly see my staff hanging decorations at our offices , enjoying each other's company at holiday gatherings and exchanging seasonal gifts , I can also see them moving projects forward , actively pursuing emerging opportunities and ever-expanding our circles of collaboration.
Last week we opened 70 units at Villa La Esperanza in Goleta, tomorrow we are opening 30 more at Rolling Hills II in Templeton and in just a few short days, we'll be breaking ground on brand new farmworker housing in Guadalupe. Learning centers are being readied for the upcoming semester, first-time residents are being warmly welcomed into their new homes in time for the holidays and those who have previously been without  support  and care are receiving resident  services for the very first time.
Oblivious to a date on a calendar, my staff continue to fill each day in devoted service to the over 5,000 residents who now call a PSHH property home.  And so I invite you to continue supporting the vital work that benefits everyone we are privileged to have in our affordable housing family and wish you with warmest regards the very best for this blessed season.
