Dear Friends, As 2014 comes to a close, we are thankful to have cared for you, your patients, and your loved ones in the past year. We have had tremendous growth in our nursing and therapy staff in both the Rhode Island and Dartmouth, MA areas to increase our service area and capabilities. Together, our nursing and therapy staff, along with our Infusion Pharmacists and Residentialist Nurse Practitioners, are working to provide comprehensive, all inclusive care to our patients. As we move into 2015, we are excited to announce that we have been selected by the largest health insurance provider in Rhode Island as a Preferred Provider of Home Infusion Therapy. Please take a moment to read the full story through our press release here. Care Resource is the only locally owned and managed company of the three selected after a competitive and thorough process to evaluate capabilities and clinical programs, and the only company selected with an Ambulatory Infusion Suite. As of January 1, 2015, infusion therapy patients covered under this insurance plan will be transitioned to one of the three "in-network" providers, which will significantly reduce deductibles and out-of-pocket expenses. Care Resource currently provides Home Health services including skilled nursing and therapy to patients covered by this insurer. With the addition of home infusion therapy to the list of covered services, we can continue to help patients and providers minimize ER visits and hospital readmissions. Thank you for letting us care for you and your patients, and we would like to wish you a safe and healthy holiday season. Take Care,
Bernie Lambrese CEO |

Program Features:
- A Care Resource Physical Therapist will meet the patient at home before the scheduled surgery to evaluate the home environment and prepare patient and family for anticipated needs after surgery
- The patient and family will be introduced to our clinical team that will be involved in their care at home.
- In addition to screening the patient's functional status, our PT will answer any questions involving their post-op home therapy to ease any anxiety or fears. The PT will make recommendations for equipment to assist with their therapy, home safety, and ambulation
- Our therapist will follow up with the patient 24 hours following surgery and upon the patient's return home to admit to Care Resource's services and begin therapy as ordered by the physician.
