Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Thank you very much for helping us reach $9,200 towards our $20,000 match. We have until January 31, 2022, to raise the remaining $10,800, allowing you to spread your support over two tax years! Don't forget, you can fully deduct ($1 for $1) donations to any non-profit up to $600 (for married couples) made in 2021 as a provision of the CARES Act.

Please read below to learn more about our work in Nepal and the World Hepatitis Alliance's article about FIRE's community-based approach to hepatitis elimination in Mongolia.
In need of some extra living space? We have room for two more Mongolian gers/yurts in our container arriving in Spring 2022. We are offering 10% off the next two orders!

As always, we hope you and yours stay healthy and happy!
Featured by World Hepatitis Alliance
Every minute, three people die from hepatitis somewhere in the world. Only 10% of the estimated 310 million people infected know they have hepatitis and less than 2% are receiving treatment.

For years, Mongolia has had the highest rate of liver cancer and among the highest rates of hepatitis in the world. Since 2009, FIRE has been working to eliminate hepatitis in Mongolia. We were honored to be featured as part of the World Hepatitis Alliance's (WHA) "Find the Missing Millions" campaign for our Hepatitis Coordinator model. You can read the article on the WHA website.

You can view photos from our Hepatitis Coordinator training here and learn more about the project on our website.
Langtang Heritage Program
Since 2018, FIRE has worked with a team of Heritage Professors and funding from Western Sydney University (WSU) on the Langtang Heritage Trail in Langtang Valley, Nepal. This "trail" consists of three open-air buildings constructed along the last 13 miles of the Langtang Trail's 26-mile footpath. Inside the buildings, we will be installing iPad's inside a locked stand. The iPads will be loaded with videos about culture; altitude and earthquake safety; local stories; and a variety of other relative subjects, translated into a dozen languages. We are currently working on the videos and translations. Contact us today if you are interested in helping with translation. You can view videos and photos about the project on our website.
