Dear Members and Friends,
I hope you all had a lovely and safe Thanksgiving.
Registration for Winter 2022 classes is now open! We have a variety of classes to choose from, both in-person and via Zoom, and an indoor golf recreational opportunity. Food for Thought continues in January with Maine Secretary of State, Shenna Bellows (more details to come.) Also, watch for upcoming Coffee Clash events. Both will be virtual for the time being.
It's time to look back on what we have accomplished together this past year. Our members, friends, speakers, and volunteers - instructors, board members, and committee members - made this happen. Pretty amazing, don't you think?
- 29 classes - 9 in-person and 20 online
- 3 Coffee Clash discussions
- 6 Food for Thought lectures
- 2 Special online presentations
- 1 Members-only art show at the Northeast Harbor Library
- 1 Racial justice book group formed
- 1 Sunbeam award from the Maine Seacoast Mission
- 1 Gala celebration of our now 21st Anniversary
Wishing you Happy Holidays with joy and peace. As we head into the new year please take care and be well. I look forward to seeing you soon!
Janice
