Don't get scammed by bad actors claiming to send you funds. Never buy gift cards and give out the codes on the back to a third party. These types of scams are not covered under the Credit Union's dispute rules so if you are suspicious about a request of this type, call the Credit Union before making the purchase or giving out your information.

Jordin's Famous

Cream Cheese Cookies

Our VP of Lending and Collections, Jordin, is always spoiling us with her homemade treats and these cookies are hands down the office favorites.

• 1 Stick unsalted butter, softened
• 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
• 1 cup granulated white sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• ½ teaspoon baking powder
• 1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour
• Powdered sugar

1. Cream together butter and cream cheese with a whisk or an electric mixer.
2. Add sugar and beat for 1 minute. Add egg and vanilla extract and beat to combine. Add in baking powder and the flour, mixing to combine.
3. Once incorporated, refrigerate the dough for at least 1 hour, covered.
4. Preheat your oven to 375°F. The dough can be sticky so dust your hands with flour to roll out 1–2 inch balls. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet and gently flatten them, using your fingers or the bottom of a glass. Don’t flatten too much or the cookies won’t puff up!
5. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Remove from the oven when you see the underside edges turning golden brown (may vary depending on your oven). Cool on a wire rack and then dust with powdered sugar.
