Update from the Area Director

November was naturally a month to reflect and be thankful, so that's just what we did! We held our 1st Annual Thankful Fest at Mount Union, where students from several local Hall of Fame Area FCA Huddles came together, shared testimonies, and praised and worshipped our Lord. We had several local huddles participate in the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child and pack countless boxes for children in need. I also got to spend time with family and enjoy good food for Thanksgiving!

If the Lord has put ministry on your heart in any way, I would love to meet and see how that can fit with FCA. Whether as a volunteer, disciple-maker, coach, huddle leader, etc. I want to help you get plugged in where you're called to serve!

Please be praying for us as we seek to add potential ministry staff to our Hall of Fame Area FCA!

Huddle News

On Monday night before Thanksgiving, we had students from Mount Union, Ashland University, Baldwin Wallace, Dover High School and a few others PACK the chapel at the University of Mount Union for our First Annual Thankful Fest. This is an event we are super excited about holding every year, after seeing how impactful it was for us and the students! Several students took turns sharing their testimonies, where they came from, and where God was pointing them to go! Between testimonies, Ashland University and Mount Union's worship teams took turns leading the room in worship. It was an incredible night to share with fellow believers, and we even had one student-athlete from Ashland University's FCA Huddle give their life to Jesus! A highlight from the event, for sure! We want to thank everyone who made this incredible night possible, and with excellence!

Rittman’s FCA Huddle packed 20 shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child, an outreach ministry through Samaritan’s Purse. Prayerfully hoping that each of these boxes will reach a child who needs them, and will fill each need and hope in knowing Christ will provide. Thanks to the school nurse, Liza Meehl for the idea and organizing the box packing!

North Canton Middle School's FCA Huddle got together to fill Operation Christmas Child Boxes! They exceeded their goal and filled 6 boxes for the organization!

Hall of Fame Area FCA has some prayer requests as we look for new staff to add to our roster! We have a few candidates who have reached out, and we are asking for prayers and God's guidance as we select more amazing people to join our team. We'd like to add new staff to help make sure our area huddles are supported and thriving, and we want to add additional board members to help support our staff and the direction we are going.

We also ask for prayers for provision for the ministry so that we can continue to live out the great commission and reach everyone with the gospel, and for us, specifically coaches and athletes in our area.

Thank you!

Our hearts go out to our friends at Tusky Valley Local Schools who unfortunately experienced an unimaginable loss last month when a charter bus carrying band members on their way to the OSBA Capital Conference in Columbus was involved in a very serious accident. Continue to pray for the students, teachers, and community as the mourn the loss of three students and three adult chaperones who were travelling with them. We are sending all of our love to our Tusky Valley friends, and ask God to give them strength, peace and hope. #TuskyStrong
