YWCA GBR Creates Song/Video on "Love Doesn't Hurt" for Week Without Violence

“Love Doesn’t Hurt”, an original audio-video production by the YWCA-GBR on Instagram, Facebook and YouTube reached the hearts and minds of more than 20,000+ individuals with its inspirational message on domestic violence prevention. Written by songwriter Cee El and performed by Rap artist B Berry, both of Baton Rouge, the moving message about recognition, action, and direct assistance from YWCA was impactful and memorable. CEO Dianna Payton ends the video with a direct message and contacts for housing and crisis response for gender-based violence in Baton Rouge.

On the last day of Week Without Violence, YWCA-Greater Baton Rouge participated in the Southern University’s Homecoming Parade reaching out to students, alumni, and fans of the Southern Jaguar family with messaging on “Love Doesn’t hurt.
