Thank You for Your Support at Our Fundraiser Gala!
The 1st Annual VegMichigan Fundraiser Gala in Ann Arbor was a huge success! The board and staff at VegMichigan were truly touched that so many people value our work and came out to support our efforts. A great time was had by all as attendees enjoyed a lovely evening complete with delicious vegan appetizers, complementary drinks, music by the Event Jazz Trio, and lots of fun! Winners of the raffle took home gift cards to GreenSpace Cafe, Chive Kitchen, Hungry Harvest, Shimmy Shack, and Detroit Street Filling Station! The funds raised will enable us to promote the health, ethical, and environmental benefits of a vegan diet to a wider audience throughout Michigan.

Making a Good VegMichigan Program Even Better
VegMichigan has worked with libraries for 10 years, putting up beautiful displays that promote the benefits of a vegan diet. VegMichigan will install displays in over 20 libraries this year alone and each display stays up for an entire month.Through feedback from librarians, the displays are popular and many people who see them are interested in learning more about vegan eating. VegMichigan will begin adding a presentation and free vegan food tasting at the end of each month geared toward the veg-curious who saw our display and wanted to learn more. Thanks to your membership support and donations, VegMichigan will be able to offer these presentations and vegan food tastings free of charge.
