Nutcracker Holiday Craft Village & Tree Lighting

Center Street in Downtown Anaheim

Sunday, December 8th

Holiday Craft Village opens at 12:00 p.m.

Tree Lighting Program begins at 6:00 p.m.


Join us at our Nutcracker Holiday Craft Village and Tree Lighting event to experience a festive celebration suitable for all ages. Plenty of free activities will be available, as well as opportunities for holiday shopping, festive performances, and a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, where they will read from 'Twas the Night Before Christmas, followed by performances from Anaheim Ballet, the combined choirs of the Anaheim Union High School District, Bobbie Stovall & CJ Luis, Blue Anchor Blues, and Sean Oliu!

Cold Weather Critters Night Hike

Saturday, December 21st

7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.


Winter is here at Oak Canyon! We will explore the cold-weather habits of our local critters. Some animals might hibernate, but there's plenty more out and about on our trails at night. Tag along as we learn and search for the coolest creatures. After the night hike, we will enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate. Bring a flashlight to look for animals on the hike.


The cost is $6 per person.

Tiny Tots Academy

Winter Session 1

Begins January 6th, 2025

 

Registration for the Winter Session 1 begins on December 2nd for Anaheim Residents and December 9th for Non-Residents.


The Tiny Tots Academy is a recreational program for children ages 3-5 that jumpstarts their Kindergarten readiness. We approach learning through hands-on experiences both inside and outside of the classroom. 

 

Programming runs Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with 2-day, 3-day, and 5-day enrollment options. The Tiny Tots Academy can be found at 3 locations in Anaheim: Brookhurst Community Center, East Anaheim Community Center, and Peralta Recreation Center.

 

All participants MUST be fully potty-trained.

Neighborhood Services
Join your neighbors for some cleaning to make your neighborhood a better place! The City of Anaheim can provide large dumpster bins to your neighborhood once a year for FREE.
