Amazingly we are coming to the end of another year! And it always seems that we are rushing to get through the holiday season, end the year, turn the page and move on! So let me take moment to repeat what I have shared in previous year- end December newsletters:
“Please remember to be grateful for what you do have, as there are many around us who have less! So slow down, take a breath and give some thought and “Thanks” for all that we do have in our lives. It is important we do not forget those who are less fortunate. And if you have it in your means to offer help to any in need- in whatever way you can - do not hesitate to do so. You never know when one small act of kindness could change a life in ways you may never suspect.”
The monthly Breakfast Club Networking continued on its growth path upward in December. This month’s gathering again demonstrated an amazing turnout of members. As I have mentioned previously, it is symbolic of the desire for members' businesses to meet and speak with other members of our local business community. Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised this month to be sharing Brothers with approximately 60-70 Wakefield HS Art department students, who had gathered at Brother’s prior to disbursing across town to begin their annual holiday window painting!
We had a terrific November After Hours Networking at
The Savings Bank. A huge Chamber thank you to everyone- beginning with President/CEO Bob DiBella and the TSB team for once again hosting a memorable networking night out for all in attendance.
This past weekend the Chamber hosted its 3rd Annual Santa Parade through town. While we had less than the best weather conditions (AGAIN), the parade sailed through Wakefield seamlessly. The families and children lining the parade route to greet and cheer on Santa didn’t seem to care one bit about the weather. After all, seeing Santa was all that mattered!
Here are a number of Chamber December events coming very quickly for you to mark your calendar.
The Chamber is happy to introduce two new members this month,
Sobella Skin and Beauty, owner Kelly Fiorentino and
Refined Medical Aesthetics, Frederika MacMillan, RN, BSN. We will be making it more formal with a ribbon cutting on Thursday December 8, 2022.

I would also like to congratulate DeMoura|Smith Law Offices for having been selected for inclusion in the 2023 edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms”. This is the tenth consecutive year the firm has earned this recognition. Well done and best wishes from the Chamber for many years to come!
A very Merry Holiday Season and a Happy New Years to all!
Thank you all once again for continuing to support your Chamber.
