As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, our communities need us now more than ever. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, CDCs have stepped up and are responding to the crisis in various ways. Many CDCs shifted their work to include the emergency response needed to sustain communities through the crisis, and ultimately to invest in the community’s recovery.
As the capacity building and advocacy arm of the community development movement in Massachusetts, MACDC provides services that build the capacity of CDCs across the Commonwealth, and advocates for resources and sound public policies that support equitable community-based work.
