Happy Holidays!
As December settles into Charlotte, the Queen City takes on a special kind of charm - twinkling lights in our neighborhoods, crisp mornings, and a season of gathering with family and friends.
Charlotte's real estate market has shifted from 2021 "frenzy", into a healthier, more balanced environment. With rising inventory, steadier prices, and continued in-migration, the next 6 months present a smart opportunity for both future home-owners and investors.
The queen city's growth story isn't slowing down. With thousands of new residents arriving each month, major construction re-shaping neighborhoods, and a shifting balance between buyers, sellers, and renters, Charlotte is entering late 2025 with a market full of opportunity.
Economic Outlook:
Charlotte's economy remains one of the strongest in the Southeast. Job growth is running above 2% annually, unemployment is low, and the city continues to attract corporate relocations in finance, healthcare, tech, and logistics.
The wild card is interest rates. Most of the forecasts suggest rate cuts may begin in late 2025 or early 2026, which could unleash new demand.
Development:
There are billions in new projects that are re-shaping the skyline and suburbs. A few areas to watch for these new projects: Uptown, South End, west Charlotte, and east Charlotte.
*We are very thankful for all of our clients throughout 2025, and we look forward to the Christmas season with family & friends. We wish you and yours' a very wonderful Holiday Season!
