A HOLIDAY GREETING
2021 has been an eventful year and it has been an honor to share it with you as your chapter president. Together we can be proud of our accomplishments and the challenges we faced head on. As a group we truly pioneered beyond the pandemic.
Here are some of the items I am most proud we have accomplished.
· MPI New Jersey was named a Top Performing Chapter for the 2nd year in a row.
· We delivered programming throughout the year even returning to face-to-face meetings.
· We provided resources to assist unemployed members through the pandemic.
· Our volunteer engagement increased – members chose to be more involved with the chapter and reported great value in the experience.
· Our chapter remains solvent due to the ongoing fiscal responsibility of the board. This has helped us to continue our membership offerings during a difficult time.
In November we had a very productive and inspiring Board Retreat planning for 2022 and boy do we have an exciting year ahead! We will host our 2nd Annual MEETs Conference in March followed by a chapter birthday party. (35 years as a Chapter... now that's something to celebrate!) In June we are looking forward to the return of our popular golf event after a two-year absence. We are eager to see our members at these upcoming events!
We should all be very proud of our achievements and successes this past year and the holiday season is the perfect time to reflect on that in the company of our families and friends. It is time to share some laughter and good times with those who matter most to us. I also want to take this time to recognize those who make MPI New Jersey what it is today.
Our members deserve many thanks for their contributions in determining the future path of our organization through comments and suggestions that are so helpful.
I am extremely grateful to our Board of Directors and their committees for their ongoing support and dedication to MPI New Jersey. Their roles are so vital to the success of our chapter and to providing us with opportunities to develop as meeting professionals.
Happy Holidays! I wish all of you the best of health, happiness, and prosperity and I look forward to connecting with you all in the new year.

THE MEETS CONFERENCE
Registration is now open for the highly anticipated MPI New Jersey MEETS Conference at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.
The MPI New Jersey MEETS Conference attracts professionals in the meetings, events, hospitality, travel and sales industries from across the tri-state area. An anticipated 100+ attendees will gather on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, with exclusive and fun pre- and post-conference parties, site visits, and more on Tuesday March 22nd and Thursday, March 24th.
A dynamic keynote speaker and a host of knowledgeable subject matter experts will complement an engaging supplier and buyer trade show during this time of learning and networking. This mix will give attendees access to must-have information as the meetings industry powers back strong!

I might be a tour guide in Europe, a kindergarten teacher or - why would I want to be in any other industry. I LOVE my industry and this is where I will always be!
