FEATURED ARTIST:

Nicole Skinner

Nicole Skinner - Dead Raw - acrylic on canvas - 48 x 24”

Nicole Skinner is predominantly a painter that works from her home in Westminster, MA. Although she mainly works with acrylic paint, she is truly a horse of a different color when it comes to medium, both literally with her use of exaggerated color and figuratively as she likes to explore other mediums. She recently painted two murals at a local business called Secondhand Summit in Princeton, MA that really show her love of hiking and the outdoors.

Although Nicole is most well known for her exaggerated color portraits, she also enjoys portraying flora and fauna alike. She often will use live edge pine slabs as a canvas to create colorful landscapes or portraits of woodland critters. More recently Nicole has started working with water colors and even dabbles in pottery. Starting soon, Nicole will be hosting paint and sip nights at Secondhand Summit, so stay tuned and check out her Instagram for announcements on dates and times for your next paint night adventure!
