The Amelia Walk Holiday Lights are up. The main entrance, amenity center and entrance to the neighborhood are beautifully lit up to celebrate the holiday season. We would like to give a special thank you to those who took time to help install the lights. If you see Jeff Robinson, Buddy Price, Bob Rose, Greg Kirchgesner, Connie Philipp, or Laura Taylor, please thank them for all their hard work! We couldn't have done it without them!

Please consider donating to the 5th Annual Santas for Seniors event, organized by Nassau County Council on Aging. They are collecting gifts for seniors in Nassau County to help brighten their holidays. Many seniors live alone and don't have family or friends nearby throughout the year or during this holiday season.

They are asking for new, unwrapped gifts to help bring joy to the seniors in Nassau County. There will be a donation box placed inside the Amenity Center entrance. Below is a list of needed items. Donations will be picked up on Friday, December 6th, so please drop off donations by Thursday, December 5th.

Suggested Items:

Non-slip socks or slippers

First aid kits

Books/playing cards (large print)

Blankets/throws

Sweets/cookies

Umbrellas

Calendars/planners

Battery operated candles and flashlights

Adult coloring books, pencils or markers

Bath robes (men and women)

Knit hats, scarves and mittens

Insulated cups/water bottles

Bath towels/washcloths

When Bringing Helium Balloons, Please Keep Them Secured to Avoid Damage to Ceiling Fans

Wipe All Surfaces (counters, tables, etc.)

Wipe Appliances if Used (sink, microwave, oven, refrigerator)

Clean Up Any Food/Drink Waste and Spills

Remove All Decorations

Sweep Floors with Broom

Empty Garbage Bins (Kitchen, Patio, Restrooms), Replace Liners (provided) and Place All Garbage Inside the Dumpster

Ensure All Furniture is in its Original Location

Dickens on Centre

Travel back in time December 12-15,2024, during the tenth annual Dickens on Centre festival in historic downtown Fernandina Beach, Florida, on beautiful Amelia Island.
