December 2023 Newsletter

Springvale Public Library

 Announcements:

The Library will be closed on Monday, December 25th for the Christmas Holiday and on Monday, January 1st for the New Year. Have a wonderful Holiday Season!

It’s Holiday Fair Time! December 2 through the 9th the Community Room will be full of books, crafts, jewelry and more! Come by and shop during the library’s normal business hours.

It’s that time of year again where we are all talking about the S word….SNOW! In the event of inclement weather we post closures on the Maine news stations, as well as on Facebook. Speaking of that S word, we also have Snowshoes to borrow from our Library of Things for those who like to get outside and play, and for those who would rather stay inside we have loads of puzzles to check out too!

From the staff:

Happy Holidays from your friends at Springvale Library! This tends to be a busy time of year for most of us. If you find yourself with a pile of books you have not had a chance to read yet, give us a call and we’ll renew them for you.

If you need to find your inner peace, look no further than Sarah’s amazing Mindfulness and Sound Therapy program. It’s been really well received and we feel lucky to have her.

Looking forward to January, the Kids Winter Reading Program is a must try! Miss Sheila’s reading bundles are a perfect way to keep the kids entertained.

Don’t forget to check out the Spree of Trees at the Memorial Gym to see our book themed tree!
