President's Message
It's finally here!
How did we get to the holiday season so quickly? The end of the year is a little over two weeks away. With so much going on, I hope we can all look towards a brighter 2022. New year, new changes.
And with that being said, this is my last official year on the board/council. It has been wonderful being a volunteer for this Chapter for the past 20 years or so and now it's time for me to take a break (ha ha). Actually, I volunteered to serve out the remaining year for our Membership position (a recent mid-term vacancy) but will train someone for the 2023 term. Also exiting the council at the end of 2021 is Roseann Freitas (Programs), but she will also volunteer to serve the one year remaining on the Secretary position (a recent vacancy mid-term). If you are interested in serving on the council for the 2023/2024 term, please contact me. We would love to have you on board.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce our new 2022 officers for the Aloha Chapter:
President: Pam O'Donnell, Coastal Creative Design
Programs: Lianne Cameron
Communications: Lauralily Toler, Tile Warehouse
With some of us in the industry on break at the end of the year, we will try to send the Save the Date and other announcements soon. But in the meantime, please mark your calendar for January 25th for our first event of 2022 (see below). More information and RSVP invite will be sent in the upcoming weeks.
On behalf of the Aloha Chapter council, have a fantastic holiday season with friends and family. We look forward to seeing you soon.

Save the Date for our Annual Kick-Off Event
|
|
Get excited! Our first in-person event of 2022 will be our much anticipated Kick-Off Event. Our Aloha Chapter Kick-Off is THE event to kick of the new year. This year, we have the pleasure of having Pacific Home & Appliance Distribution host our get-together at their new showroom in Halawa Valley. The showroom, with new displays and products, is currently open with additional new displays and products coming soon. Learn more about the exciting new Zip Water product line, which provides boiling, chilled, and sparkling filtered water all from the same tap, and is ideal for a home or small office.
On January 25th, come and meet the GE representatives that will be in town for the BIA Home Show and learn more about the new showroom with Craig Washofsky. More detailed information on our guests from GE and products will be sent in the coming weeks. Great food, drinks, door prizes, and great company! We can't wait to see you in January.
