  • The holidays are better together! This December, bring a buddy to the fitness center and rack up raffle tickets for a chance to win prizes. The more friends you bring, the merrier (and the better your chances to win)!

How it Works:

  • Bring a buddy for a 20+ minute workout to earn 1 raffle ticket
  • Bring a buddy to a group fitness class to earn 2 raffle tickets
  • If your buddy is a new member, you will earn 3 raffle tickets
  • You can only bring the same buddy twice for raffle tickets, so spread the cheer and bring all of your friends!

Prizes:

  • Ember mug + $25 FRGMNT gift card
  • Snowshoes + $25 Scheels gift card
  • If your name is drawn, both you AND your buddy win a prize

The holidays can be a stressful and busy time for everyone. In this podcast host Marielle, interviews Kari Leibowitz, PhD on her best healthy habits and tips for thriving during the cold months. In 2014, Leibowitz spent a year doing research in Tromsø, Norway on winter habits of those living in the Arctic Circle. She went on to write multiple books about her findings and combines scholarly expertise with practical know-how to apply the science of mindset to make us happier and healthier.

National Impaired Driving Prevention Month


December is National Impaired Driving Prevention Month. This month, we raise awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Impaired driving puts everyone on the road at risk, leading to preventable accidents, injuries, and loss of life. With the holiday season bringing more celebrations and travel, this month serves as an important reminder to make safe and responsible choices behind the wheel.

International Human Rights Month


December is recognized as International Human Rights Month, a time to reflect on the importance of equality, freedom, and justice for all people around the world. Throughout December, people, organizations, and governments are encouraged to promote awareness, advocate for human dignity, and take action against injustice and discrimination. This month highlights that human rights are universal, indivisible, and essential for a fair and peaceful world.
