Tompkins Learning Partners

Their mission is to help adults who live or work in Tompkins County meet their personal goals, free of charge, by improving their ability to read, write, and speak English, and to use math and computers. Just recently they added a new component that grew out of their ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) classes- citizenship classes!
Recently four of their students passed their citizenship test and became American citizens.

Our funded partner, Ithaca Health Alliance recently added optometry to its list of services provided at the Ithaca Free Clinic (IFC). In partnership with the Ithaca Lions Club, IFC has created an optometry clinic that is open once a month at its West Seneca Street location.

The clinic provides: eye exams, prescription glasses, and treatments for eye conditions not requiring surgery .

As of December the optometry clinic has served around 70 patients!

Optometry services are available by appointment only. Please call
