Goodfellows First Winter Clothing Distribution a Huge Success
The Goodfellows of Clintonville and Marion held their first Winter Clothing Distribution event on Saturday November 5th at the Clintonville Public Library. By all accounts, the first time event was a resounding success as over 150 coats were distributed to children ages 18 and under who are residents of the Clintonville and Marion school districts.
In addition, nearly 90 pairs of snow pants and a like number pair of boots were distributed along with winter hats, scarves, gloves, and mittens.
Depicted here are Goodfellows volunteers Tracy Sirna and Lori Mattes as they help out a couple of young ladies as well as a happy young man with his new winter coat!
ANOTHER GREAT WAY TO SUPPORT GOODFELLOWS IN COOPERATION WITH COMPASSIONATE CONNECTION CENTER! DEADLINE FOR DONATIONS IS DECEMBER 10.
DON'T FORGET!

Goodfellows distribution will be as follows:

Wednesday December 14th will be set aside for families with children. With that date being an early release day in the Clintonville School District, distribution hours for that day will be from 9am until 5pm.

Thursday December 15th will be for single individuals and those households without children. Those recipients may pick up their items between Noon and 3pm on that day.
Holidays are often difficult for people who have experienced the death of a loved one. The sounds, sights and smells of the holiday season may trigger feelings of sadness, loss, emptiness and anxiety. Traditionally being a time of family togetherness, sharing and thanksgiving, this season may bring feelings of loss different from what you experience in your daily routine. This is a common part of grieving during the holidays. We hope these two support sheets from our Grief Services department provide guidance and support so you can find peace throughout the holiday season.
