Welcome to the 2022/2023 ski and snowboard season

The Christmas music is playing with warm fires inside and out in making Ausblick a wonderful place to enjoy some holiday fun with family and friends.

I would like to call out the tremendous efforts of Kyle Mortola, our Hill Operations Manager, and his team members (Tyler, Josh, Jackson, JP, Jameson and AJ). They have worked tirelessly to get us open earlier than ever before with incredible quality snow and grooming. Ausblick is fortunate to have such a talented and experienced team. Please give them a thumbs up and a thank you when you see them out on the hill.

Safety remains our first priority - on the hill, in the lodge, and in the parking. Please follow the skiers/snowboarders code, please take care and be aware when riding the lift and please drive slowly with a watchful eye in the parking lot. Please follow the direction of our lift operations team when loading and in the lift corral as they focus on the safety of all riding the lift.

Our Snowsports School is already in full swing with lessons. The team provides lessons for all ages, and abilities for both skiing and snowboarding. Please reach out to Lynn Mallach to learn more.

The Ausblick Ski Race Team is beginning practices and getting ready for the race season and area High School race practices will be under way soon. Good luck to all our ASRT and High School racing athletes this season! You always make Ausblick proud!

The hill is open for regular days and hours for the rest of the season. As always, please check the website or Facebook for any potential changes to operating times due to weather conditions.

Outside Operation Report:

100% open on all lighted runs!

The snowmakers and grooming staff have been hard at work getting your slopes open. Although we will still make more snow to thicken up our base and add more unique terrain only found here at Ausblick, we are happy with where the hill is at so early in the season. Enjoy!

Ausblick Race

Report :

Ausblick Ski Team had a very successful early camp as well as Thanksgiving camp and both were well attended.

The conditions could not have been better for race prep and Copper Mountain and much of its terrain opened on November 14.

We are looking forward to USSA/FIS starting practice in December, Christmas camp at Ausblick starting 12/26 and the first MWAR race at our spike on January 7. Please also note, registration closed on 12/6 and we thank all of those who have registered!
