KZMU Audio Book Club
We will be on air with Back of Beyond Books at 5pm on Monday, December 2nd for KZMU's monthly Audio Book Club.

We'll discuss what we're reading, bestsellers, and upcoming local literary events.

How to Survive Your First Trip in the Wild: Backpacking for Beginners
Join local hiking enthusiast Paul Magnanti as he gives a presentation on his new book written for beginner backpackers or those who wish to help people as they take first steps into the wild. Paul will go over the nuts and bolts of backpacking (gear, permit issues, how to pack, etc.), tell more than a few anecdotes, and will share photos of his travels through America's wild paces.

Library Closures
The Moab Library will open at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 12 due to a staff training.

Over the Holidays, the Moab Library and Castle Valley Library will be closed on December 24th and 25th.
The Moab Library will close at 5 pm on New Year's Eve, but both branches will be open on New year's Day!
Kids Cafe @ Your Library
Free for all children up to 18 years old

Serving after school Monday - Friday
from 3:30 to 4:30 PM

Serving lunch on Saturdays
from 12:00 to 1:00 PM
Volunteers Needed to Support Kids Cafe!
Kids Cafe volunteers will partner with library staff and spend approximately 1.5 hours (3:15 - 4:45 PM) per day setting up, serving, and cleaning up. We would prefer volunteers who can make at least a three-month, one-day-per-week time commitment to the program. Volunteers need to be willing to complete a background check. Volunteers will not be preparing any food and a food handlers permit is NOT required.
