December Newsletter
Greetings!
Happy holidays! We hope you were able to attend and enjoy our 2nd Annual International Day of Persons with Disabilities Celebration, with special guest Kevin Kling. Kevin inspired the audience to narrate their own stories. The networking, artist recognition and celebration of talent truly brought our community together.

As we close out 2022, we want to thank all of our members for their ongoing leadership in disability inclusion. We look forward to our continued partnership in 2023 with you!

Career Connections Mentoring Program
Apply today to be a mentor or mentee for our Disability:IN Minnesota 2023 Career Connections Mentoring Program.

Application deadline is December 16, 2022 at 5 pm.

The Career Connections Mentoring Program is a 3-month mentoring experience connecting employers/professionals from Disability:IN Minnesota member companies to:

  • College/university students with disabilities
  • Recent graduates with disabilities or
  • People with disabilities who have completed a specialized training/certification program

The mentoring program offers one-on-one relationships that will allow both mentors and mentees to share their insights, perspectives and experiences related to disability inclusion in the workplace. This results in a supportive mutually-beneficial relationship that provides the mentor with an enhanced knowledge of disability inclusion while driving career development and employment opportunities for the mentee.
