Middle School Caroling & Party| December 7
Calling all Middle Schoolers! Ho Ho Ho and Merry CHRIST-mas! Mark your calendars for the biggest Christmas party you have ever seen! There will be Cookies, Caroling, Cocoa, and a ton of Christmas cheer! It will be Friday Dec 7
th
from 6 to 8 pm at Liana Dicicco’s house. See Pastor Ben for directions. Cookie Decorating supplies and hot chocolate will be provided. As for cost, the cost is free, and we would just ask everyone to bring a sweet treat to share! This event is hosted by Reach Middle School and is open to elementary through high school. Let’s spread some Christmas Cheer!

Bread of Life | December 8
One Saturday each month (rain or snow), Mary Hoskins takes her van to downtown Detroit to give to the homeless. Because the homeless are outside, she cooks and serves the people outside; she and her volunteers prepare food to feed those in need in the area. Alongside her, a team of volunteers from Lakeside takes clothing, hygiene products, Bibles, love and smiles and helps her endeavors. They serve the people, give them encouragement and pray with them. Lives are changed as the love of Jesus is shown to people!
Sign up at the Missions Booth. We meet at Lakeside at 8:45am and we will be returning approximately 12:30pm. This month we will be making up approx. 200 Christmas Care bags to be handed out to the homeless along with a hot Holiday Meal.
Items needed: warm socks, hats, gloves, scarves, coats, boots, personal hygiene items. If you are interested in helping with Christmas Care bags.

Year End Giving| December
In response to the many questions we receive regarding year-end giving, here are the various ways you can give along with their respective end-dates:
THE GOOD OLD FASHIONED OFFERING BAG – End Date: Sunday, December 30, 2018
Yes, we still pass the offering bag in our services! The last opportunity for giving in this manner will be in any of our four services on Monday, December 24 at 5PM and Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 8:30AM, 9AM and 10AM.
DROPBOX GIVING - End Date: Thursday, December 27, 2018
Our dropbox is located in the lobby near the office door. Our office will be open on Wednesday, December 26, thru Thursday, December 27 from 9PM-5PM. All giving received in our dropbox by close of business day on December 30 will be credited to 2018 giving.
GIVING VIA THE MAIL - End Date: Postmarked by December 31, 2018

A 2018 giving statement for tax purposes will be mailed to your home by January 31, 2019. Please contact Liana DiCicco, Lakeside’s Business Secretary for any questions regarding your giving. In February, Lakeside’s Annual Reports on all 2018 giving and spending will be available to all.
Remember, Jesus said if we seek God first, the things we want will seek us. Your Tithes and Offerings are an investment in the Kingdom of God. WOMEN'S INTERCESSORY PRAYER
TUESDAYS 9:30-11:30AM / ROOM #18 WEEKLY
Every Tuesday morning, the women of Lakeside gather together at 9:30 to 11:30am in room 16 to pray. They begin with sharing praise reports, then have a lesson on the power of prayer from the word of God and end with prayer requests and praise. If you want to go to the next level in your prayer life, please join us. God answers prayers!
MEN'S PRAYER GROUP
FRIDAYS 7-8 AM / ROOM #18 WEEKLY
Every Friday morning, the men of Lakeside gather together in the Garden Room at 7am to pray over their families, their businesses/employment, and the needs of the church! Join us for this powerful time of prayer... you'll discover that it makes a difference!

Every Tuesday at noon the Pastors and Lakesiders gather together in the Main Worship Center to pray! Join the Pastors for a devotion and prayer.

Hospital Care
James 5:14-15 "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.
We believe and continually see the power of prayer here at Lakeside. If you have an upcoming surgery or health need please let us know to lift you up in prayer. Once we are notified of a need it is shared with our Prayer Chain, Tuesday Prayer Team, and Lakeside Leadership.
We will also minister to you before surgery. We have a Hospital Care team of Lay Ministers and Elders that help the Pastors by visiting hospitals and nursing homes every week. Once home, after a hospital stay our Lay Ministers will call you weekly to pray with you. If you want to keep a need private just notify the Pastors.
If you have an emergency please let us know, one of the Pastors or Hospital Care Team will do their best to come and pray with you.
