Happy New Year!

our  25th year of service to children and families a succ ess. We have had a great year. Our reach to families with children of all ages has extended farther than ever. We plan to continue that trend as we listen to the needs of families and respond as we are able in the New Year.

There is much to do and families need a lot of support to meet their own hopes and dreams. One of the most common misunderstandings about our work is that we help families who should be helping themselves. That is far from the reality. The families with whom we work want to provide the best they can for their children. They come to us voluntarily for support in learning about early childhood development. They come to us for direction in getting assistance for a developmentally delayed child. They come to us voluntarily for information about teen sexuality and disease prevention and for information and support for LGBTQ+ youth and their families. No one is required to use the services of TLC Family Resource. And no one is denied services or referrals if they need them.

In essence, we help folks help themselves with the information and support they need to succeed at their own goals. It is so gratifying to see so many families learn and grow. And you are part of making that happen!

Many people are concerned about the implication of the new tax code on our mission. It may be a surprise to some, but I am not concerned. Why? Because I know that our donors give to us because they believe in our mission, not because they can get a tax deduction. And I believe donors will continue to support our work because they believe in the work we do...and they believe in the families who are trying so hard to create a bright future.

Thank you again for all you do. Happy New Year!

Breaking Down Barriers
Thank you to everyone who participated in our Breaking Down Barriers campaign. We did it! The virtual wall is gone. Now let's get to the work of the real walls and barriers that hold children, youth, and families back from their dreams.

If you want to become a volunteer to help support the work we are doing, please contact Neil Allen at or 603-542-1848, ext. 311. We offer flexible schedules and duties. We will find a place to fit you into the mission!

No reservations needed.
