Introducing New Gallery Artist
Terri Dilling!
Michael Murphy Gallery proudly welcomes Terri Dilling into the gallery artist lineup! Her refreshing, gestural acrylic and mixed media on canvas paintings create calm emotional landscapes.
Terri Dilling received a BA from Indiana University and a BFA from Georgia State University. As the child of a German mother and an American father, she grew up loving culture and travel, leading her to attend art programs in England, South Africa, Spain and Italy. With an interest in science, she was awarded project grants to work with scientists from the Center for Chemical Evolution to learn about their research and create related exhibitions. All of these experiences continue to influence her art.

Alexandra Nechita is starring in a new show by Play-Doh called Squished! Coming out this holiday season, Alexandra will be the artistic judge for three families as they compete to create the ultimate Play-Doh winter wonderland. Stream Squished on December 10th on IMDbTV. Are you ready to get Squished?
Alexandra also completed her first-ever mural, "Set The Stage," at the iconic intersection of Hollywood and Highland last month! I’m especially proud of the community that came together to make it happen and the community that it hopefully serves in the best possible way.”

Ben Eine
Ben Eine was accepted into the renowned Kolly Gallery, an international graffiti art gallery based in Zurich and Geneva. The gallery aims to represent the universe of international graffiti art, stretching from some of the historical pioneers to the contemporary emerging protagonists of this unique art movement.
Ben also completed a mural in downtown Fort Smith, AR in partnership with The Unexpected, an organization that brings artists from across the world to provide accessible art in Fort Smith. The mural featured the word “IMAGINE” in Ben’s characteristic colorful typography. It was created to inspire and call to attention the social issue of mental health; as The Unexpected director Claire Kolberg put it: "Ben’s artworks bring possibility, the opportunity to imagine your future and well-being, and most importantly, creating the space to connect with ourselves and others through the shared experience of viewing his artwork.”

Robin Austin
Robin Austin was featured in an article in the Coastal Star! His Q&A interview covers his influences and mentors, advice for young professionals, current reads, and more!
Here's a sneak peek:
Q: What music do you listen to when you want to relax? When you want to be inspired?
A: All the classics from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s. Springsteen. Dylan. Simon and Garfunkel. The Rolling Stones. Music plays a huge part in my life; we have it on all the time. Music is a mood-changer. You get the right music at the right time and it’s fantastic. For inspiration, it’s Sympathy for the Devil. I get cranked up. There are some classics that are timeless.

As for Eleanor herself, she is taking a well-deserved trip to the Bahamas at the beginning of the new year for both rest and artistic inspiration ("of course I'll be taking my paints with me"!). She expects to return to her studio with plenty of material and renewed energy. We wish her safe travels!
