December Zoom Meeting
Wednesday, December 9 7:00 pm
Hi Everyone,

We continue to hunker down during (hopefully) the waning days of the 2020 pandemic as we wait for a safe time to resume activities. For now, we will hold our meetings virtually with first one planned for this Wednesday, December 9 at 7:00 pm. See the instructions and links for connecting to the Zoom meeting in the sections below.

To prepare anyone who is not familiar with Zoom, we have set a Practice Zoom Session for December 8 at 7:00 pm. See the links and instructions below.

We are also planning a virtual annual meeting in January. More details will be forthcoming as we get the details ironed out. This is the time of virtual meetings at least for the next six months.

Our last Zoom seminar was held in October with Jeff Morse presenting. He shared his tricks for silencing the annoying squeaks and rattles that crop up in our driving vehicles. His presentation was well-attended and his slides and techniques were easy to follow so that even the most mechanically challenged of us should be able to accomplish these simple fixes.

Harvey is eager to share the details about all of the improvements that have been made to Orleton Farm. He will share all of this during the virtual meeting along with our tentative events we have planned for 2021. The agenda for the meeting is posted below.

Hope everyone stays well and look forward to "seeing" you on Wednesday.

How To Connect to the Virtual Meeting
If you are connecting to Zoom for the first time, allow a few extra minutes to connect. A headset is preferred if you are going to join in conversation, as any background noise will be heard by other attendees. With larger groups, this becomes a problem. If you are only listening to the meeting, you can remain muted and not need a headset. If you are connecting with your cell phone, ear buds also work very well for keeping a meeting noise free.

Here are instructions from Zoom for those unfamiliar with connecting:

Before joining a Zoom meeting on a computer or mobile device, you can download the Zoom app from our Download Center. Otherwise, you will be prompted to download and install Zoom when you click a join link.
You can also join a test meeting to familiarize yourself with Zoom.

No CCDS Dues For 2021
Due to the pandemic putting a quash on our CCDS activities this year, dues paid in 2020 will carry over to 2021. So no dues for 2021!
2021 Orleton Driving Show
August 5-8
With the cancellation of the driving show this year, the Wallers have been taking advantage of the extra time available to them to make some fabulous improvements to the already beautiful show grounds they so generously provide for the show. Improvements are ongoing this summer and fall and include: enhancing the obstacles, including a new water obstacle, and the main ring will have a whole new look along with many more improvements.Based upon the increased exhibitor participation the show experienced in 2019, we anticipate the show next year to be even bigger and better. So we all look forward to hearing about more details as the 2021 season gets underway next spring.
