Library Displays Get Noticed |
|
|
|
VegMichigan partners with dozens of libraries throughout metro Detroit to offer presentations, cooking demos, and food tastings to local communities. We also offer a lesser known library program that has a big impact. Each month, VegMichigan sets up a display at a different library promoting popular plant-based books, cookbooks, and other resources that can be checked out at the library. These displays are seen by hundreds each day and this is another positive way we reach individuals who are interested in learning about the benefits of plant-based eating. |

The Nonprofit Insurance Alliance (NIA) is hosting a Fall 2021 photo contest and the theme is Heart For Community. Voting is easy – just go to this page and cast your vote for VegMichigan between December 6-12, 2021. We're in the running to receive either $1,000 for first place, $500 for second place, or $100 for 10 more nonprofits. The prize will be used to purchase additional food items for our Giveaway program to reach even more people in the community.
