On behalf of Dickinson Parks and Recreation Board of Commissioners and staff, I would like to say Happy Holidays! As 2020 comes to a close, it has been a year of chaos, worry and change, but we will continue to do our best to provide recreational opportunities as we battle to the end of this pandemic. We want to say THANK YOU to all participants, sponsors, partners and staff for helping us manage throughout the year. You have all been the stability we really needed during this time and we hope we did the same for you.
As we turn the page and move into 2021, we are excited for a return to normality.  You will see programs, special events and facilities tailored to meet your needs and provide you with all the opportunities you need to have FUN! Thank you for all your support - stay safe and healthy this holiday season!

Save Time for Exercise
For most of us, screen time has significantly increased our sitting time. In 2018, an American Cancer Society 21-year study of 127,554 people linked prolonged sitting time with a higher risk of death from all causes, including cancer, cardiovascular diseases, lung, liver and digestive diseases, Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
