It is critical that the machine that hosts the database is as reliable as possible and capable of storing increased amounts of data.
A general rule of thumb is to add 1 gig of RAM to the server requirement.
The minimum client and server hardware requirements, as well as Ingen Software's recommendations for hardware are listed below:

For smaller groups of 1-10 employees using a PC using as server:
OS: Windows 8,10 or later
RAM: 8 GB or more
DISK: 50 GB free 
CPU: 2.0 GHz dual core (AMD or Intel) or faster 
Network: Gigabit wired

For larger groups of 10+ employees using a PC as a server:
OS: Windows 10
RAM: 8 GB or more
DISK: 100 GB free
CPU: 2.5 GHz dual core (AMD or Intel) or faster
Network: Gigabit wired
Oasis Quick Tip: Submittals and Cut Sheets
OASIS allows users to store PDFs as cut sheets to be used in submittal packages. These cut sheets can be linked to specific catalog number combinations and "learned" by OASIS. 
Cooper Specialization
We are in the process of updating the Cooper configurator in OASIS.
Watch for a message from Cooper Lighting explaining some changes that you will need to make.
There will also be an update in the OASIS January 2021 Production release to the Configurator.

Monthly Maintenance
Ingen Software has monthly planned maintenance windows. These take place on the Saturday after the monthly production release, which is generally the first Tuesday of the month, during the hours of 8:00 AM Central through 8:00 PM Central. During these maintenance windows, operating system updates and patches will be applied to our Windows and Red Hat Linux servers, firewalls, and switches as necessary. Therapeutic reboots of virtualization hosts may also be performed. Temporary outages can be expected during these planned maintenance windows.

O4 Users
Project Editor
The O4 Project Editor functions differently, depending on if the user has full access or sales access to O4. If users have full access, they will be automatically directed to the Inside Sales View of
the Inside Sales View of the Project Editor, and can use the Outside Sales View as needed. From the Inside Sales View, users have full editing access on the project.
