What's Up at The Warehouse!
December 2020 Newsletter
From the Executive Director:
Donna Murray-Tiedge, MFA, Ph.D.:

On behalf of our Board of Directors, Creative Arts
Coordinator, Teacher-Artists, and Volunteers, thank you, and warmest wishes to you and your loved ones this Holiday Season. You matter to us; we appreciate you! Only with your help can we continue to provide opportunities to settle the body, mind, and spirit, nurturing the mental health of our community while keeping physical health a priority. We owe special thanks to Northwoods United Way, Great North Bank, The Kohler Foundation, SBA PPP, and the Department of Administration for helping us keep our lights on in these unsettling times. We are grateful for Coyote 93.7, Eagle River Chamber of Commerce, The Lakeland Times, Vilas County News-Review, Vilas County Tourism & Publicity, and WRJO for spreading our news. 2019 has been challenging, but are doing okay. Still, we could use more help. Those of you who are able, please contribute to our year-end campaign. Let's keep taking care of each other!

Dr. Donna

Arts & Aging

Story of the month!

Please enjoy the story and illustration below, “The Green Ice Cream Story”, written and illustrated by TimeSlips participants in our Arts and Aging program.

Thank you to our Arts and Aging sponsor, Northwoods United Way.
The Green Ice Cream Story

These are two people enjoying ice cream, just because. Kate loves her mint ice cream. We want Kate’s ice cream! It looks like mint ice cream. Jim is having cookies. It is not a special occasion because it’s always a good time for ice cream, definitely!
We don’t know where they live but you have to go far away to find a man who doesn’t like mint ice cream! I think they are from Tennessee. They are brother and sister and they are neighbors.
Later they go for a walk and then eat more ice cream. Oh yes! Then they go to a dance and play schafkopf, that is card playing. Then they go back and have more ice cream. Sounds good to me! They look happy in the picture. I would be too if I had that ice cream!
