We are welcoming The Robert Taylor Group to our organization this month. Founded in 1999, The Robert Taylor Group has spent more than two decades helping small and mid-size businesses navigate the ever-changing world of employee benefits insurance. Serving North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia, their mission is simple: understand the choices so business owners don’t have to.
RTG specializes in group medical, dental, vision, and a full range of ancillary and worksite products. By quoting with multiple carriers, they help employers secure strong pricing and plan options that fit their needs. What sets them apart is their commitment to personal support - RTG’s dedicated benefit counselors meet with employees one-on-one, on-site, to walk them through their options and help them understand the value of their benefits.
To make enrollment easier, RTG offers web-based onboarding and the Employee Navigator platform, giving employees a clear view of plan details, total costs, and employer contributions. Their system also supports COBRA and ACA compliance, including 1094/1095 tracking and reporting.
Founder Ken Lang built RTG on a guiding belief: take care of every client and every employee like family. He continues this approach today by prioritizing one-on-one conversations with businesses, allowing him to tailor plans that truly fit each company and individual.

Our Chamber is proud to welcome Mission Critical Solutions, a financial technology consulting business founded by Robert Cronin. Launched in August 2025, Mission Critical draws on Robert’s full military career and his extensive experience flying for law enforcement, fire, and EMS. With a lifelong servant’s heart and
a passion for supporting others, Robert now dedicates his work to helping small businesses keep more of their hard-earned money by simplifying payment processing
and offering smarter, more affordable technology solutions.
Mission Critical specializes in reducing processing fees, upgrading payment technology, and streamlining how business owners get paid, often saving them thousands of dollars each year. As a local representative for multiple payment platforms, Robert gives business owners the flexibility to choose the systems that best fit their needs, whether they operate with cash, cards, or a combination of both. He also provides access to working capital and small-business lending, approaching every conversation with an “advice over sales” mindset informed by his own experiences running businesses in housing, restaurants, wholesaling, e-commerce, and online management. He understands firsthand how tight margins can be and takes pride in removing financial stress from business owners’ shoulders.
Deeply rooted in the Greenville area, Robert and his wife, a nurse and ECU alum, are raising their blended family of eight children in a community they actively support. They are strong advocates for ECU athletics, small businesses, Greenville Christian Academy, and local charitable efforts, including services for the homeless. Serving businesses from New Bern to Roanoke Rapids, Robert’s goal is simple: help any small business that needs it, build meaningful connections, and strengthen the local economy by ensuring more dollars stay in the community. Mission Critical Solutions is here to empower business owners with clarity, savings, and technology they can trust.

We are excited to welcome Fit40 Personal Training & Nutrition to our Chamber, a personalized fitness and wellness program founded by veteran trainer Bryan Fitzsimmons. After more than a decade of personal training experience, Bryan launched Fit40 in 2021 with a mission to help busy individuals in the 40+ community achieve sustainable, balanced, and confidence-building health results. Originally from New Jersey, Bryan has been in the Winterville/Greenville area for just about a year, bringing fresh energy, a fast-paced work ethic, and a deep commitment to making clients feel supported, not just another number.
Fit40 stands out by helping people “outsource their fitness” so they can live active, energized lives without the pressure of unrealistic, cutthroat workout culture.
Every client receives monthly strategy sessions, weekly Zoom check-ins, and honest conversations that cut through the confusing fitness trends and media noise. Bryan’s background in criminology, sociology, and psychology allows him to tailor support to each individual’s needs, offering hybrid personal training, flexible subscription-based memberships with no contracts, and a 14-day kickstart program to ensure new clients are the right fit. His philosophy is simple: no fluff, no cookie-cutter routines, just
transparency, personal attention, and real results.
As a new member of the community, Bryan is eager to deepen his involvement through local business organizations, including our Chamber, the Greenville Chamber, and BNI groups.
His long-term vision is to grow Fit40 into a larger fitness hub - a community space where people can connect, pursue their goals, and support one another. He is also
building a podcast as a client-facing resource to share practical guidance, success strategies, and actionable steps for achieving short- and long-term wellness goals. Fit40 is trending upward, and Bryan is excited to bring a fresh and meaningful fitness resource to the Winterville community.

December brings fewer events, but it opens up space for reflection and for planning ahead to 2026. I’m excited to shift gears on some of our current events, introduce new programming, build on what’s already working, and get creative about how we offer even more value to our members.
For most of our members, January 1st is your renewal date. Our new member portal makes renewing and managing your membership simple and convenient, so please be sure to log in and take advantage of it. And if you have any questions or need help, I’m only a phone call or email away.
And while you’re thinking ahead, don’t forget to register for our Annual Celebration! If you’re considering joining us as a vendor at the Christmas Market, now’s the time - this is our biggest vendor event of the year, and spaces fill quickly.
