Hard to believe... This is the last newsletter of the year 2024 !
We kicked off the Christmas season with our tree-decorating pot luck supper. It was great fun with a beautiful tree done by our members, and a delicious supper enjoyed by all. Thank you to all who participated. We had a fun evening.
A few big thanks are in order: to Nora for bringing Christmas into the lobby, it's very inviting when we walk in; to Georgia for the lovely window painting; to Joanne K for the beautiful raffle items; and everyone else who put in their time to make our Center the place to be.
Calling on a few good men to help. We need the shuffle board moved from the dance room to the entrance hall. Please call 250-914-4401 if you can help. We will set up a time to geterdone. Thank you in advance.
Next on our agenda is Christmas dinner. We have a good day planned for you. The Center will closed on the 20th to anyone not holding a dinner ticket. Please arrive by 11 am for entertainment. Dinner will be served at 12:00. We will have a silent auction (tickets are $1.00 each or 6 / $5.00). The Christmas raffles will be drawn after the dinner and door prizes also will be drawn.
