City Staff Step Up to Support Neighbors

When our community faced uncertainty during the recent federal government shutdown and the resulting pause in SNAP benefits, Rancho Cordova city staff rallied together to make sure no one went without support.


One of the most immediate needs emerged at the local Food Locker, which extended its hours to keep food accessible for families who rely on these services. With longer days and more visitors walking through their doors, the Food Locker needed extra hands, and the city team didn’t hesitate.

City Leaders and Rotary Club Promote Literacy with Classroom Dictionary Giveaway


Students at several Rancho Cordova elementary schools were surprised with brand-new dictionaries this year, courtesy of the Rotary Club of Rancho Cordova. Mayor Siri Pulipati, Council Member David M. Sander, Ph.D., Council Member Joe Little, and Council Member Linda Budge joined Rotary members on campus to help hand out the books.

Community in Action: Rancho Cordova Students Soar and Grow


The sky is the literal limit for a group of eighth grade students at Mills Middle School in Rancho Cordova, who launched 100 rockets on campus last month in partnership with Solidgim, a company headquartered in Rancho Cordova that specializes in high-performance memory and storage solutions. Solidigm designs and manufactures products that power everything from data center to consumer electronics.
