Employee of the Month Ryan Henneberger Ryan is an activity coordinator at our St. Peter location in Lewiston. Since the beginning of the school year, Ryan has shown enormous improvement. He takes initiative and is extremely reliable. He has built a great relationship with all of the students and is always there to welcome new faces. Ryan has been known to step up to the plate during a crisis and is a great help to his manager. We are excited to watch Ryan grow with LE3.

Scholastic Book Fair! Join us for the LE3 Scholastic Book Fair! This year, LE3 is partnering with Scholastic Books and Child & Family Services of Erie County to purchase more books for our sites and for different C&FS programs. To keep everyone safe, we are monitoring the current numbers and restrictions in Erie County. Shopping on site will either be kept to small, socially distanced numbers at a time, Google form shopping with curbside pickup, or online shopping from Scholastic.com. We are also excited to announce that we are partnering with local small businesses to promote their products! Keep an eye out for updates on which businesses will be attending, when you can hear them speak virtually about their businesses, and promotions or local products included in our basket raffle to be drawn on December 19th!

Winter Weather Policies When School is in Session For in Person Learning: • If one of the following is true LE3 will automatically be closed: 1) A driving ban is in effect in the town where LE3 is located 2) The school district has closed school • If after school activities are cancelled in an LE3 building, we will remain open until 4:30pm or the last child is picked up When School Is Fully Remote: • LE3 will close virtual learning centers/camp if a driving ban is in effect in the town where LE3 is located • LE3's administrative team will determine closure or delay based on the driving conditions, heating/power at each building, and expected length of the storm. Closures on the following news stations: WGRZ, WIVB, & WKBW
