Programming in the New Year
Navigating the last eight months has been a team effort! As a new year dawns, we need your input as we establish safe practices and programming for the winter months ahead. Below is a brief outline of the updated plans for programming January to March of 2021. These plans are adjusted from our practices this fall to account for colder weather. After reading the updated plans, please take a few minutes with your student/s to respond to the survey. Your responses provide critical input for our next steps forward.
Sunday Afternoon Bible Study: Bible Study will continue to meet Sunday afternoons in the church parking lot. With less daylight, Bible Study will be moved to start at 3:00 PM and finish at 4:15 PM. United Praise will move up its start time to 4:15 PM.
Small Groups: All small groups will continue to meet on Wednesday nights. Instead of meeting for an hour and fifteen minutes, groups will meet for only an hour- 6:00-7:00 PM. All groups will be given heat sources through fire pits and/or propane heaters.
Winter Weather Policy: With colder weather and higher case numbers, the YMT has adopted a winter weather policy that advises in the event of snow, rain, or temperatures below 35 degrees, outdoor programming will be cancelled.
