2020
As temperatures drop, look for ways to save energy this winter.
Save with Setbacks
Setbacks are usually a bummer, but not when it comes to thermostats. According to the US Department of Energy, turning thermostats back 7-10 degrees during off-hours can result in up to 10% energy savings. Setbacks are a snap with programmable thermostats.
Save with High Speed
The constant up and down of shop doors makes it easy for warm air to escape in winter. High-speed overhead doors help reduce the loss of conditioned air year-round. Consider high-speed doors for your service area, especially if you're remodeling or building a new facility.
Save with Waste Oil
Tired of paying for waste oil removal? Turn used oil into energy savings with waste oil heaters. Heat your shop, showroom, or even the entire facility.
12 Connecticut Retailers Clear Waterways
Subaru of New England (SNE) believes loving the environment means working to preserve it. That’s why this September on International Coastal Cleanup Day, SNE and 12 of its Connecticut retailers partnered with Save the Sound for Connecticut Cleanup – Cleaning the Waterways of Connecticut.

To comply with COVID-19 safety protocol, each retailer team focused on a pre-selected cleanup location near its store. By the end of the day, more than 80 volunteers removed 400 pounds of trash from local waterways. An additional eight retailers hosted Love Promise activations in support of this initiative.

Colonial Subaru's team cleared trash on the shores of a lake, Reynolds' Subaru tackled a beach and state park, and Garavel Subaru's team kayaked to nearby islands to collect trash.

Of the 12 participating retailers, seven are Subaru Eco-Friendly.
