Monthly Update from Mike

Traveling this holiday season?

Before you take off, let’s talk about something crucial.

Checking company emails and files while traveling is common.

However, it's also common for people to connect to public Wi-Fi while doing so.

It’s convenient, but it’s also a playground for hackers.

Don’t ruin your holidays by ignoring the basics.

Here’s a quick checklist of data safety tips:

- Keep your travel plans private.

- Stay off public Wi-Fi..

- Make your passwords strong.

- Keep devices up to date

- Label your devices with a phone number.

- Back up your data before traveling.

Need help keeping your critical business data safe while traveling this holiday season?

Databranch will work with you to achieve the level of security that your organization desires to reduce that risk.

Reply to this email or give us a call at 716-373-4467 option 6 to speak with one of our experienced team members.

Regards,

Mike Wilson
