Teen leadership workshops
led by David Strinkovsky with Loen Amer
We are excited to motivate and inspire our teens to meet their goals to improve our community and our world. Workshops with David Strinkovsky will equip teens with skills they will apply at business meetings with Loen Amer to plan major TLC events including Youth Shabbat and Purim Carnival.

At our first meeting, Wednesday, December 18, teens in the LTC will vote for an executive board from among the cohort, following the procedure in  this packet
Parent and Teen Pop-Up Giving Circle
Sunday, December 8, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
at the Adler Family Home, Chappaqua
A giving circle is a group of people who pool their donations and decide where to give together.

Our TLC Parent and Teen Pop-Up Giving Circle will be rooted in Jewish values. We will decide for ourselves what our values are, what the mission of our circle is, and what we want our charitable dollars to support.
Dinner for Homeless Shelter Guests
Sunday, December 15, 7:30-9:30 p.m.
at Bet Torah
Bet Torah will be hosting 15-20 people who live locally, but cannot afford food and shelter through the winter from the  Emergency Shelter Partnership (ESP) all week. On Sunday, our teens in 8th-12th grade will be taking the lead.
Support for Bet Torah's shelter week is needed from the whole community. Learn how to get involved.

Please email Michele Posner, community service committee chair, with any questions about the ESP or any community service activities at Bet Torah.
