Just a quick update from Stewardship.
Thank you to everyone who has returned their pledge card. We’ve had a great response. As of the middle of November, we’ve received 54 pledges and I know that a number of you are still planning on sending your pledges.
We encourage you to get your pledge in as soon as possible so we can do the budget planning we need for 2026.
Thank you to everyone for your support of Trinity Church and all of its missions and programs.
Your Stewardship team,
Tom Danforth, Joe Montana & Tim Cashmore

Hello Trinity Community!
Well if you can’t tell from the past few weeks, music is definitely alive at Trinity! What a pleasure it has been to share musical worship experiences with the ensembles and congregation. I hope the opportunities to create, share, and witness God’s gift of music help you spiritually recharge to combat the week as much as they do for me.
Advent & Christmas Season is finally here! It is also the peak of the musical operations for the church. Not only do we get to experience songs only heard during this season, but it brings with it an increase of musical involvement within our services! Check out what music is planned for this month at Trinity!
- December 7th - 10am Worship
- Special Music provided by the Adult Voice Choir, as well as service music focused on PEACE.
- December 14th - 10am Worship
- The Worship Band will support our service music, as well as share a Special Selection called “He Has Come For Us” by Meredith Andrews. JOY will be our theme this Sunday.
- Faith Formations Kids invited to Music time with Mr. Scott after the service.
- December 20th - Service of Light at 7:00pm
- Service Music provided by Pam Jones
- December 21st - 10am Worship
- Service music focused on LOVE, as well as Special Hand Bell music for the Prelude, Special Music, & Postlude.
- December 21st - Lessons & Carols Service at 5:00pm
- Come out for an evening of Scripture Readings, Congregation Carols, & Special Music Selections provided by the Adult Voice Choir and the Hand Bell Choir.
- December 24th: Christmas Eve Service at 6:30pm
- Bring your family or invite a neighbor to this featured evening service filled with the comfort of some of your favorite Christmas hymns plus multiple special music selections provided by the Hand Bell Choir, Hai Wei Wang, & myself.
- December 28th:
- While Pastor Will is away on vacation, we will spruce up this post-Christmas service with a few extra hymns as well as a violin duet from Hai Wei Wang and Tim Cashmore.
For the Song of the Month, we will be using a contemporary version of the Advent Hymn, “Come, Thou Long Expected Jesus” written by one of my new favorite Christian musicians, Meredith Andrews. Take a listen to the original version HERE. We will sing a shorter format that is more congregation-friendly.
Another sort of “song of the month” will be our Advent Candle-lighting Sung Response. After a specialized reading and candle lighting, we will sing the chorus of “Jesus, Name Above All Names”, just as we did on the 1st Sunday of Advent in the Hymn Sing Service. Listen to a recording with the lyrics HERE. Also this month, we will continue to use the “3-Fold Amen” (#312 in Chalice Hymnal). We will sing this together each week after the Closing Prayer and Blessing. Listen HERE.
Even though we are entering one of the busiest seasons of the year, be sure to take time for yourself and those you care about. Please reach out to me if you have any feedback on ways to improve or broaden the outreach of our music ministry. Have a Blessed Advent/Christmas Season!
Until We Meet Again

STEEPLE AND EXTERIOR MAINTENANCE UPDATE
The congregation unanimously voted on November 9 to authorize Phase 1 of the steeple project, which involves the temporary removal of the spire, bell and belfry, and reinforcement of the sanctuary roof.
The Board of Deacons, at the recommendation of the Exterior Restoration & Maintenance Task Force and the Finance & Property Committee, has selected a contractor for Phase 1.
The Task Force, with the assistance of the Church’s structural engineer, Structures North, is negotiating a
contract with the successful bidder.
The UCC Church Building & Loan Fund, the capital campaign consultant engaged by Trinity, will conduct a feasibility study in February in preparation for the 2026 capital campaign. Some members of the congregation will be interviewed as part of the study.
The Task Force is also considering what other needed projects might be undertaken with proceeds of the capital campaign and how to prioritize such projects.

Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery, which was begun by Maine businessman Morrill Worcester in 1992. The organization’s yearlong mission – Remember, Honor, Teach – is carried out in part each year by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies in December at thousands of veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond.
