| | Fundamentals of Child Cognitive Behavior Therapy - Free Training | | The Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment (CAMAT) program at the University of Miami is excited to offer a 10-week, 10-hour live virtual training series, called Fundamental of Child CBT: An Introduction to the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents (UP-C and UP-A). UP-C and UP-A are evidence-based, Trust-funded Parenting and Family Strengthening protocols. Through a generous grant from the Batchelor Foundation, we are offering FREE registration to South Florida-based mental health providers and student trainees in a related Masters or Doctoral program. Individuals training or practicing outside of the eligible South Florida counties may still register at a fee. Sessions will be conducted via Zoom every Friday from noon to 1 p.m., beginning January 30 through April 3, 2026. The Community Grants (CG) Program is responsive on a quarterly basis to nonprofit organizations developing small and large-scale community-based cultural (dance, theater, music, visual arts) programs, as well as projects and events, such as fairs, parades, neighborhood festivals and publications that have a strong artistic component. The CG panel considers projects with strong community involvement and/or an outreach component. The CG Program is particularly sensitive to the needs of indigenous cultural neighborhood activities and projects encouraging the preservation of heritage, traditions and culture, as well as social service organizations and cultural groups developing collaborative intervention projects using the arts.
Grant deadline approaching! The FY 25-26 Community Grants (CG) Program’s 3rd quarter final grant deadline for all applicants is on Thursday, December 4 at 11:59 p.m. Third quarter projects must take place April 1 - June 30, 2026.

In honor of Jason Jenkins and his family, the Miami Dolphins Foundation has announced a new grant, the Jason Jenkins Legacy Grant, which will annually award a $50,000 grant to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit driving meaningful, long-term change in underserved communities. This funding opportunity is designed to support initiatives that address inequities, respond directly to community-identified needs, and drive sustainable change while aligning to the Foundation's mission for a healthier, more educated, and united South Florida. Eligible applicants must demonstrate a strong track record of service and a clear plan for how the grant will strengthen and scale their impact. Those who applied during our regular Miami Dolphins Foundation grant cycle are eligible to apply for this new grant.
